Welcoming the Eid Al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1439 H, Widyatama University Foundation distributed 750 Lebaran packages to the community in Sukapada area near campus of Widyatama, placed at the parking lot of A Building, 1st floor of Widyatama University in June 12, 2018.
The Lebaran package was handed over directly by the Chairperson of the Widyatama Foundation represented by the Treasurer of the Foundation Djoko Soebagyo Roespinoedji, S.E., Pg.Dip accompanied by the secretary of the Foundation, Drs. H. Lili Irahali, and several other Foundation leaders. Also was witnessed by Sukapada officers, Maman Rokhman, S. Sos, who also symbolically handed Eid packages.
The Secretary of the Foundation, Lili Irahali, conveyed as a form of feeling together, caring and to strengthen the relationship between Widyatama University and the community around the campus by giving the Eid package in the form of nine basic necessities prepared. Giving groceries to residents of the Sukapada village has become a routine agenda for Widyatama University more than 20 years ago, he added.
Head of Sukapada area said “The existence of the Widyatama University Campus has a positive impact, especially in helping to say the economy of the people who live side by side with the Campus, coupled with the CSR program in the form of scholarships for residents of Sukapada Village” he said.
He hoped that the giving of this Eid package should not be judged by price and amount, but this gift which is a form of sincerity and sincerity as well as the spirit of brotherhood between Widyatama University and the community around the campus.
“Hopefully this Lebaran package can be received and utilized as well as possible. Please pray and support the Widyatama University to be always victorious and to become a superior and dignified university towards a world-class university, “he said.
