The Student Senate of the Faculty of Economics (SEMA FE) Widyatama University held the Widyatama Accounting Competition (WAC) phase 15. The WAC XV is an accounting competition aimed at all registered and active students of Diploma / Vocational / Bachelor Accounting Study Programs from various Universities / Institutes / STIE / STA throughout Indonesia. WAC XV was held on May 3 – 5 2018 at the Widyatama University Auditorium (GSG).
Participants registered in the WAC XV were 78 teams from various 25 Universities throughout Indonesia. On the first day of the quarterfinal round, 26 teams participated. On the second day, the semifinals and finals round of the WAC XV were held. At the end of the second day, there was also the third announcement of WAC XV winners.
The event was closed on May 5, 2018 with the National Seminar with the theme “Global Future Economy” led by speakers including Robertus Ary Novianto, S.E., M.M., Ak. (Partner of KAP BDO Indonesia), Windy Wulandry (Owner Flashy), Prasurya Arif (Consultant & Commissioner of PT. Positive Consulting Solutions. Whereas acting as moderator Namely Lecturer and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics Dr. Rita Yuniarti, SE, MM, Ak. , CA.
At the latest WAC event, the Universities that won the championship were: First Winner of PKN STAN, Second Place Winner of UNPAR Team 1, Third Place Winner of UNPAR Team 2.
The sleek performance of Kevin Idol entertained participants and the public audiences who attended the closing ceremony of the WAC XV by presenting a number of songs that had been delivered at the last 2018 Indonesian Idol audition.
