Saturday (27/1) The Head of the Al-aitaam Foundation Management Board, STT Jabar’s Leaders, Lecturers and Students visited the Widyatama University Foundation in order to introduce the management of the Al-Aitaam Foundation to Widyatama Foundation. The group was welcomed by the Leaders of the Foundation and the Widyatama Rector.
After going through the Notary Deed of understanding and getting a recommendation from Kopertis IV in the West Java and Banten Region, officially the management of the STT Jabar which was previously managed by the Al-Aitaam Foundation, as of January 27, 2018 has switched to Widyatama Foundation.
West Java College of Technology (STT JABAR) is a private university which was established on October 5, 1998 on the initiative of Mr. H. Sali Iskandar who oversees 5 Engineering Study Programs including four bachelor degree programs; Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and one diploma program in Mechanical Engineering.
Gradually, STT Jabar students who had previously conducted lectures at the STT Jabar Campus on Jalan Ciganitri, starting the even semester of 2017/2018 will switch to Widyatama University campus at Jl. Cikutra No. 204A. Thus Widyatama Foundation which previously houses 3 institutions; Widyatama University (UTama), Knowledge Development and Application Institute (LPAP) and Art Therapy Center (ATC), now also manages the West Java College of Technology (STT Jabar).
