In order to enhance cooperation with the business world and industry, graduates and prospective graduates, Widyatama University Career Center held an activity in the form of a Corporate Gathering on Tuesday (20/3) in the Seminar Room Building A 4th floor. More than 20 companies from various fields attended the event which was held for the 4th time by the Widyatama University Career Center that is a part of an effort to provide post-study services for graduates.
The event theme “Business in the Digital Age” presented the Head of West Java Diskominfo, Dr. Hening Widiatmoko, MA in accordance with the development of industry 4.0 which is increasingly rapid. Hening said there are several components in the digital economy, the e-commerce industry, digital distribution of goods and services, the Information Technology Industry and communication and sales via the internet.
On this occasion, the MoU was signed and handed over to several companies present including PT. Panin Bank, PT Medion, PT. Xsis Mitra Utama, PT. Cyberindo Aditama and PT. Agrodana Futures. Cooperation includes the opportunity of internship and absorption of alumni in these companies. More than 200 alumni attended the event which was opened by Widyatama University rector, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA.
The Widyatama 2018 Gathering event is one of the activities of a series of activities at the next Widyatama University Career Center, namely the Widyatama Job Fair which is planned to be held on the 3rd and 4th April. At least 27 companies are present from various business fields, including:
