Impact Campus

“Kampus Berdampak” is a concept of higher education that focuses not only on academic education, but also on actively contributing to society in solving social, economic, and environmental problems. This is an evolution of the “Kampus Merdeka” concept, which emphasizes freedom of learning, but “Kampus Berdampak” adds a focus on sustainability, relevance, and the real impact of education.

In essence, Kampus Berdampak is:
  • More than just academic education: This campus push student and lecturers to be directly involved in real project that provides solution to challenges in society.
  • Relevance with social needs:
Campus learning is tailored to real-word problem and need.
  • Strong Collaboration: The campus  builds a strong relationship with the business world, the community, and the goverment to create a wider impact.
  • Measurable and visible results: Programs implemented on campus are design to bring changes that can be seen and felt directly to the society.
  • Agent of Change: Student are encouraged to become agent of change who are able to give solution and positive contributions to the environments and society.
The difference between Kampus Berdampak with Kampus Merdeka:

Kampus Merdeka emphasize student freedom in choosing courses and extracurricular activities, while Kampus Berdampak emphasizes how that freedom produce real impact to society. Thus, Kampus Berdampak can be considered a continuation of Independent Campus, with the addition of a stronger dimension of social contribution.

The examples of Implementation of Kampus Berdampak:
  • “Berdampak” intership Program:
Students intern at various institutions and companies to gain work experience while contributing to relevant projects.
  • Student Creativity Program (PKM):
Students are encouraged to create scientific works, futuristic ideas, or other projects that provide solutions to social problems.

The campus collaborates with local governments, the business world, and the community to develop programs that benefit all parties.
  • Curiculum Development: The campus curriculum is tailored to be relevant to the needs of the community and the world of work.
