Widyatama Re-organized Simulations of the United Nations (UN) session

Saturday (3/9) The International Study Center of Widyatama University presented the 4th Bandung Model United Nations (BMUN) with the theme “Heritage of the 21st Century: A New Way for Future Generations”. The event which had been held since 2015 was attended by 85 participants from various delegations from several universities in Indonesia. This time BMUN was held at Fourpoint Hotel Bandung.

The Bandung Model United Nations (BMUN) is an international diplomacy simulation of the United Nations (UN) meeting with the aim of increasing the critical thinking of the younger generation, in this case students. The event lasted for three days which initiated with the opening of the event where on the first day there was a talk show entitled “The Role of Youth in Reaching Internationalism in the Era of the Industrial Revolution” and closed with a social night.

This international debate activity was led by the International Study Center at Widyatama University, which consisted of active students from various faculties in Widyatama University. The students who take an active role in this activity include students from the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Languages, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Communication Design. This activity received great support from the University and Widyatama Foundation in the hope of increasing the ability of students to communicate, especially English and ready to compete in the global world.
