Widyatama University is once again holding the Widyatama Book Fair 2018, which will be held in the courtyard of the Widyatama Pustakaloka Building from September 24-29, 2018. The Widyatama Library, as the organizer, aims for all faculty members and students to attend this annual event, though the general public is also welcome to join.
The Widyatama Book Fair is one of the annual book exhibition events held by the Widyatama Library. This event has been held for a long time with the aim of increasing love for literacy in Indonesia, and has become an annual agenda.
Ms. Santi, a representative from the Widyatama Library, said that the event aims to allow visitors to purchase original books at special prices. “The main attraction for visitors during the exhibition will be the library courtyard, where visitors will be able to purchase books at discounts ranging from 20 to 50 percent,” she said.
According to her, dozens of publishers will exhibit hundreds of Indonesian-language and imported books. Thousands of these books are fiction, including novels, non-fiction, children’s books, and religious books. Publishers participating in this event include Erlangga Publishers, Periplus Indonesia, Salemba Publishers, Kompas Gramedia, Refika Aditama, CV. Alfabeta, Angkasa Bandung Publishers, Prenada Media Group, Syaamil Quran, Bumi Aksara Group, ITB PRESS, and many more. (Ed)
