Monday (20/5), Widyatama Foundation and University received a visitation from the Accreditation Service Assessor Team for International Schools, Colleges & Universities (ASIC) for the chance of accreditation. Exactly at 8:30 a.m. the CEO of ASIC Dr. Lee Hammond and The Assessor of ASIC Dr. Graeme Ronald was welcomed by the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation and University at the Widyatama Multipurpose Building (GSG). Also attending the Accreditation Team from Widyatama University and all lecturers and staff at Widyatama University as a form of support for the entire Academic Community in welcoming International Accreditation.
ASIC accreditation (Accreditation for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities) is an independent international education assessment institution based in the UK.
The Accreditation Process is conducted in Seminar Room, 6th floor on May 20-23 2019. Accreditation addresses various aspects including the process of admitting new students, the learning process, Information Technology, forms of services for students, scholarships, student achievement, collaboration, student exchange, security and the convenience of students to post-retirement services.
The ASIC Assessment Team conducts visitations to almost all buildings in Widyatama such as college classes in Buildings B, C, D and K, Library Building, Student Activity Center Building, Seminar rooms, lecture support laboratories to study centers.
The Study Program which is planned to achieve International Accreditation includes from the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Business Management, Language and the Faculty of Economics. ASIC Accreditation Visitation is expected to improve the quality of Widyatama University in the future to be designed to become World Class University. (Ed)
