On Tuesday, April 30 2019, Bachelor Management Study Program in collaboration with PT Sarana Jabar Ventura held a public lecture with the theme “Strength of Venture Capital” with the Managing Director of PT Sarana Jabar Ventura, Mr Rahmat Fajar as the key note speaker. This public lecture activity began with an opening session conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, Dr. H. Deden Sutisna M.N, S.E., M.Sc. He conveyed the importance of the community and students about the importance of venture capital in Indonesia today. As we know, without the presence of a venture capital company, there will be no company starting a giant like Gojek or Tokopedia. After opening, the event opened with a prayer reading and singing the Indonesian national anthem led by Management Study Program students.

The public lecture with the theme The Power of Venture Capital was intended to provide education to students related to business capital. We can not only rely on bank loans or other loans. However, we can also use permissions provided by venture capital companies. Funding is carried out by investment venture capital companies. Related, we are not required to pay interest for investors, asked for results. Then, our company also can’t pay to make money in the company. The most important thing is that there is still a cash flow in its business activities. In addition, venture capital companies cannot be separated from companies that are financed, but also fostered until the company develops and produces profits. Those are the various benefits offered by venture capital companies.
