Saturday (21/4) 59 lecturers of D-3 Study Program along with several students active in the Entrepreneurship Student Activity Unit held a social service in Ciburial, Bandung. The theme is “Social and Education 2.0” (Sotion 2.0) where the community is given social education. There are two core events including the presentation of material on “Multipurpose Cooperatives” and social services with activities in the form of basic food distribution and delivery of prayer equipment including sarung, mukena, sejadah, iqro, Al-Qur’an and cash.
The Chairperson of the D-3 Study Program Management, Lasmanah, S.E., M.Sc, said that this activity is expected to have a positive effect, especially for local villagers by holding this PKM and social service event. More than 50 villagers of Ciburial attended the event which had the purpose of applying science and skills as a means of self-actualization of students to help others. Lasmanah added that it is hoped that in the future there will be a return to the Community Service activities with a far greater number of participants and an annual event.
