Days after Eid al-Fitr 1440 H, the atmosphere of Eid was still thick at Widyatama University. The atmosphere was increasingly felt during the holding of the Silaturahim “Halal Bihalal 1440 H” on Monday (10/6) at the Widyatama Multipurpose Building (GSG). The event was attended by the leadership of the Foundation and the Rector, Lecturers, administrative staff and other invited guests. Widyatama University Chancellor, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA on this occasion expressed his gratitude that after Ramadhan all elements of the Academic Community can gather in an atmosphere of Eid and forgiving each other.
Also attending the Halal Bihalal, Ustad Drs. Tengku Maulana, known as tausiyah, accompanied by laughter and jokes. In tausiyah on this event he reminded that even though Ramadhan was over, we should always remember the message of Ramadhan which is caring and maintaining good relations with fellow Muslims. Establishing good relationships can be started by fostering friendship with people in the closest environment, namely neighbors. How happy if we have good neighboring life because it can add value to our reward in the eyes of GOD Almighty. Furthermore, Tengku Maulana revealed that concern is a form of Islamic attitude that must be increased by a Muslim.
Halal Bihalal is an annual agenda as a gathering place for the entire Widyatama University Academic Community which is expected to strengthen the components of the University. The event was closed with courtesy and lunch.(Ed)
