PUBLIC LECTURE “Bilateral Relations between Indonesia and Romania, and Economic Development in the European Union”,
Wednesday (10/12) The Faculty of Economics held a public lecture aimed at providing students with information on the latest developments in the field of economics, particularly developments and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Europe. Many efforts have been made to implement Indonesia’s economic development, as seen in the initiatives for inclusive economic development for the ASEAN region and regions outside ASEAN that are open to the market and operate in accordance with multilateral rules between regions as a form of effective economic commitment. Priority economic activities include regional integration, strengthening economic communities between countries, mobilizing business actors, and preparing skilled and talented workers. This is an economic achievement through cooperation between countries within and outside the region, especially Europe, in the areas of education, information technology, and the flow of goods and services, which are the main priorities for implementing measures for mutually beneficial economic development between regions. Additionally, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Wedi Rusmawan, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, added that this public lecture serves as a means of information regarding the opportunities and challenges of economic development and mutually beneficial cooperation between Romania and Indonesia.
