UNIVERSITAS WIDYATAMA AND GEO ARTHA HOLDING SDN BHD STRENGTHEN TRADE AND EDUCATION SYNERGY

Universitas Widyatama (Indonesia) and Geo Artha Holding SDN BHD (Malaysia) have initiated a strategic move to strengthen trade and scientific relations through a series of activities under the Malaysia–Indonesia Two-Way Scientific & Trade Program.

The first event, titled “Talking Trade: Product Market Opportunities in Indonesia with Exporters,” was held in Kuala Lumpur. The event focused on product screening for the West Java market and an overview of the Jakarta Halal Expo (JHEC) 2025. The main objective was to build understanding among Malaysian businesses regarding regulations, marketing strategies, and export opportunities to Indonesia.

A number of expert speakers were present to deliver important topics, including:

Follow-up: Export Acceleration Mission to Bandung

As a concrete follow-up to the activities in Kuala Lumpur, an Export Acceleration Mission (Trade Mission 2025) will be held in Bandung, West Java, on September 2–5, 2025.

This trade mission is designed as a strategic B2B agenda to explore the Indonesian market more deeply through a number of activities, including:

Business Meeting & Courtesy Visit: official visits to KADIN, the Bandung City Industry and Trade Agency, and Widyatama University.

B2B Business Matching Event: business meetings between Malaysian businesses and local Indonesian partners.

Business Visit to Marketplace: direct visits to hypermarkets/supermarkets accompanied by product pitching sessions.

This activity is open to a maximum of 10 companies, with the support of the MDG Grant and a minimum participation requirement of 8 companies.
