BANDUNG – A total of 45 student organization (ORMAWA) leaders at Univeritas Widyatama officially took on their new responsibilities after being inaugurated for the 2025/2026 period. The inauguration ceremony, which took place solemnly in the Seminar Room on the 6th floor of Building B on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, served as a moment to re-affirm ORMAWA’s commitment as the spearhead in the achievement of the students. The event was attended by the rectorate and became a starting point for the journey of these young leaders.
The inauguration procession was orderly and structured. The event began with a speech from the Vice Rector for Academic & Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Reiza D. Dienaputra, M.Hum., who gave deep advice to the new leaders. The atmosphere then became more formal when the Head of the Department of Interests, Talents, Student Organizations, and Internationalization, Edi Witono, S.M., (MOS), read out the Rector’s Decree on the appointment of the ORMAWA chairpersons.
Then, one by one, the names of the ORMAWA leaders were called to the front to receive their symbolic mandate. The final expression of their commitment was through the signing of an integrity pact, represented by Muhammad Rizki from the Bachelor of Management program, as the leader of the Student Executive Board (BEM). The event concluded with the recitation of the promises by the newly appointed ORMAWA leaders, signifying their readiness to work and achieve excellence.
Vice Chancellor’s Mandate to Maintain ORMAWA’s Tradition of Achievements.

Vice Rector for Academic & Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Reiza D. Dienaputra, M.Hum. gave a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Chair of the Univeritas Widyatama Student Organization.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Reiza D. Dienaputra, M.Hum., emphasized the crucial role of ORMAWA as “the driving force behind student achievement.” He reminded everyone that the challenges ahead will be even greater, especially in maintaining the reputation of Univeritas Widyatama, which is at the top level in cluster two. The university has high hopes that the outstanding achievements in 2024 can be maintained and even improved in 2025.
“Let this be the beginning of bringing proud achievements to our alma mater. I sincerely hope that the ORMAWA inaugurated today can continue to design measurable and impactful activities throughout their term of office,” said Prof. Reiza. He also encouraged ORMAWA leaders to translate the university’s vision and mission into concrete work programs, especially in supporting PKM activities, which are a national parameter .
Furthermore, Prof. Reiza emphasized that ORMAWA’s contribution is vital to maintaining and improving the accreditation of study programs and institutions towards an excellent ranking. According to him, the university will always provide maximum support for every work program designed to build better student achievement quality.
Collaboration and Full Support for ORMAWA
This new spirit was greeted with enthusiasm and a little nervousness by the elected leaders. Immaculatta Gabrielle, the new Chair of the Student Consultative Council (MPM), expressed her feelings. “I’m definitely happy, but on the other hand, I’m also a little nervous because now I’m serving as the chairperson of the MPM, which is not an easy job. For now, I want to make KM Utama collaborate and unite,” she said. Her hope is that all ORMAWA can further explore their abilities and bring greater success to Widyatama.

Full support also came from the Student Affairs Bureau. Edi Witono, S.M., (MOS), expressed his commitment to supporting ORMAWA’s work program in line with the university’s vision and mission. “We at the Student Affairs Bureau will always support the organization’s work program, especially those related to the four main points, namely achievement, regeneration, internationalization, and activities that can enhance the positive image of Univeritas Widyatama,” explained Edi.
In his conclusion, Edi Witono conveyed his message to all the new leaders. “Congratulations to all Student Organizations that have been officially inaugurated today. May this official inauguration enable you to fulfill the university administration’s mandate to the best of your ability in supporting the vision and mission of Univeritas Widyatama,” he concluded. This inauguration is not merely a ceremonial event but a significant milestone for young leaders to contribute and elevate the prestige of their alma mater on a broader stage.
