A total of 45 new students from Widyatama University Bandung class of 2010 received scholarships from the Widyatama Foundation and the Directorate General of Higher Education. The scholarships were presented by the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation, Prof. Dr. Koesbandijah AK., MS.Ak., accompanied by the Vice Rector for Development of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. Maman Kusman, at the Scholarship Award Ceremony on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, in the Seminar Room on the 6th floor of Graha Widyatama Bandung.
The 45 new students of the 2010 class at Widyatama University received scholarships with the following details: 15 students received full scholarships, which exempted them from all fees and provided them with a monthly allowance during their studies at Widyatama University from the first year until graduation. then 5 students received a scholarship free of credit fees for the first year (two semesters), and 25 students received a monthly allowance scholarship for one year. The criteria for scholarship recipients were based on the results of the scholarship selection test for new student admissions for the Interest and Ability Search (PMDK) program in the academic and sports fields for the 2010/2011 academic year.
A total of 523 students at Widyatama University in Bandung received educational scholarships worth a total of Rp. 1.25 billion during the 2009/2010 academic year. These scholarships are one example of the educational institution’s commitment to supporting and encouraging academic achievement among its students. The scholarship funds were provided by the Widyatama Foundation, the Directorate General of Higher Education, PT Djarum, Karmaka Saurdjaja (Bank OCBC NISP), Sabana Prawirawijaya (PT Ultra Jaya), the West Java Regional Government, and others. The scholarship recipients were Widyatama students who had achieved academic excellence and were active in various student activities.
