Bandung (June 11, 2015), the Widyatama Foundation and University held a Work and Budget Meeting for the 2015/2016 Academic Year. The two-day meeting, held on June 11-12, 2015, involved all leaders at Widyatama University, starting from the Rector and Vice Rectors, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Study Programs, to Secretaries of Study Programs within the Widyatama community. The agenda included presentations on the work programs for the 2015/2016 Academic Year, with each official presenting their routine work programs and new work programs, followed by the budget efficiency they had achieved.
A prayer led by H. Hendar, Drs., M.Pd., who also serves as the Head of the English Study Program, accompanied the solemnity of the morning’s activities. The report from the Chief Executive, Prof. Dr. Davidescu Cristiana Victoria, Vice Rector for Learning and Student Affairs, included a reading of the rules and regulations for the two-day event.
The Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., began the presentation of the Evaluation of the 2014/2015 Academic Year Work Program. In addition, the Rector also presented the University’s Global Work Plan and Budget Plan for the 2015/2016 Academic Year. Officials from the Bureau, Program Chairs, and Study Center Chairs also presented their respective work programs.
Regarding the University’s global plan, the Rector, who is more familiarly known as Mr. Islah, explained that the target for the quantity of cooperation between the University and foreign universities will be increased by looking at the effectiveness of the cooperation between the two institutions. In addition, the equal distribution of perceptions based on the Vision and Mission of Widyatama University is a composition that must be emphasized in every work program of officials within the institution, including the Bureau, Deans, and each Study Program. With the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) curriculum, support for Widyatama University’s preparations to become a world-class university will soon be realized.
