Jakarta, January 25th 2025 – Widyatama University (UTama) reaffirmed its commitment as one of Indonesia’s top universities, particularly in Bandung, West Java, by participating in the Indonesia International Education Training Expo (IITE) 2025. The event was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on January 23-26, 2025, featuring various top universities from within and outside the country.
At this largest education exhibition in Indonesia, UTama introduced a variety of flagship programs, modern facilities, and attractive scholarship opportunities for prospective students. Widyatama University Marketing Director M. Fauzi, S.T., M.Log. said that UTama’s participation in IITE 2025 is one of the efforts to increase UTama’s expansion and branding awareness among high school/vocational school students in Jabodetabek. This exhibition proved that there was considerable enthusiasm from the students visiting the exhibition for Widyatama University, thus providing an opportunity for UTama to expand its promotion of new student admissions in the Greater Jakarta area. Participation in IITE will be scheduled as an ongoing activity. Additionally, Fauzi also stated that IITE serves as a platform for expanding partnership networks, as it is attended not only by domestic universities and educational institutions but also by international ones.

Widyatama University, which has been accredited as excellent, offers various study programs spread across five faculties: the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Design and Visual Communication, and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, as well as a Postgraduate School that can be taken through regular classes, employee classes, or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). In addition, UTama also introduces other programs such as the Knowledge Development & Application Institute, which focuses on providing training in various skills to support business, work, or further study, and the Art Therapy Center, which is a therapy center based on art, design, psychology, and related sciences for people with disabilities. Not only that, at this education fair, UTama also offers BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) programs at embassies, campuses, and foreign institutions, as well as the “International English Festival 2025” competition, which will be held in February 2025.
As a form of appreciation for the achievements of the younger generation, Widyatama University offers various non-state budget scholarship programs, such as the Interest and Talent Scholarship, Taekwang Scholarship, Karmaka and Sabana Scholarship, Widyatama Foundation PPA Scholarship, and Djarum Plus Scholarship, as well as state budget scholarships, such as the Jabar Future Leader Scholarship (JFLS), Bidikmisi Scholarship, KIP Scholarship -Kuliah, the Rawan Melanjutkan Pendidikan (RMP) Scholarship, and the Kemdikbud UKT Assistance.

At the UTama booth, the visitors can interact directly about information and consultation regarding lectures and other programs offered. Interestingly, UTama also provides priority scholarships and free registration fees for visitors, including interactive quizzes and attractive Widyatama University merchandise.
With the presence of Widyatama University at IITE 2025, it is hoped that more of the Indonesians young generation will be motivated to achieve their dreams through quality of higher education.
