Mini Symposium Collaboration of the UiTM and Widyatama University

The current industrial revolution, the challenges in education especially tertiary institutions will be heavier, facing these conditions the tertiary institution must make various efforts including collaborating with foreign universities.

The existence of established foreign universities is needed by universities to absorb various knowledge they have chosen. The rapid pace of science and technology currently requires universities to be able to adjust to the development of the times so that graduates can compete with the rapid pace of science and technology.

Rector of Widyatama University stated that the collaboration was carried out for various programs.

For this reason, Widyatama University in the future will collaborate with the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia. Rector of Widyatama University Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA stated that the collaboration was carried out for various programs.

The two parties are exploring to continue the cooperation phase from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the two parties, particularly the Communication Visual Design Faculty. The exploratory collaboration discussed several programs including publications on the Ideology Journal, International Seminars and International Inventions which were jointly held, exhibitions of student and lecturer portfolios, Joint Lectures (sit-ins) between Universities, final project inter-University testing and Joint research

Collaboration between the two parties was conducted on Monday (05/08/2019) in Seminar Room at B Building, 6th floor, Widyatama University. The exploratory collaboration was attended by Widyatama University Rector Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA accompanied by the leadership of the Foundation and the Faculties and Bureaus. The UiTM was represented by Deputy Rector Dr. Nur Hisham Bin Ibrahim and International Degree Design Showcase Advisor Dr. Muhamad Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Gani along with the lecturers.

Both parties had the same visions to preserve the culture of the two countries that have the potential to become a Mecca in the art world. Hopefully this partnership assessment may improve the quality of the education.
