The current industrial revolution, the challenges in education especially tertiary institutions will be heavier, facing these conditions the tertiary institution must make various efforts including collaborating with foreign universities.
The existence of established foreign universities is needed by universities to absorb various knowledge they have chosen. The rapid pace of science and technology currently requires universities to be able to adjust to the development of the times so that graduates can compete with the rapid pace of science and technology.
For this reason, Widyatama University in the future will collaborate with the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia. Rector of Widyatama University Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA stated that the collaboration was carried out for various programs.
The two parties are exploring to continue the cooperation phase from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the two parties, particularly the Communication Visual Design Faculty. The exploratory collaboration discussed several programs including publications on the Ideology Journal, International Seminars and International Inventions which were jointly held, exhibitions of student and lecturer portfolios, Joint Lectures (sit-ins) between Universities, final project inter-University testing and Joint research
