Art has many styles, and painting has several techniques used to paint an object. Painters use different techniques to produce their works. Painting techniques often become a painter’s trademark.
“I studied Fine Arts under Mr. Budiman’s guidance, and I was so enthusiastic and enjoyed it so much that I worked until 9 p.m. Manual skills give graphic designers an advantage over those who are only good at using computers. This is because fine motor skills are trained, stimulating their creative abilities even more,” said Anne Nurfarina, Dean of the Faculty of Visual Communication Design.
To produce the best possible paintings, good technique is essential. Painting techniques also consist of several types based on the perspective of the review. The Faculty of Visual Communication Design (FDKV) Widyatama produces professional graphic designers to meet the needs of the creative industry. FDKV Widyatama is supervised by permanent lecturers who are alumni of FSRD ITB who have completed doctoral and master’s programs and are active as practitioners/professionals in the DKV industry. The faculty has excellent management and facilities, such as a dual system computer laboratory (Mac & PC), an editing & dubbing laboratory, a photography laboratory, a gallery, and even a campus TV station that is officially licensed to broadcast to the public.
The measure of success prioritized by FDKV Widyatama is how a student who comes with unpolished skills transforms into a true DKV designer who is absorbed by the industry or is able to build their own industry even before their degree is conferred.
