The workshop was opened by the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir. DEA.
Saturday (14/9) As a form of concern for the quality of education, Widyatama University held a Workshop on Continuous Improvement of the Higher Education Quality Assurance System (SPM-PT) at Building B, seminar room on the 6th floor. The workshop was opened by the Rector of Widyatama University, Mr. Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir. DEA.
The Rector hoped that this workshop would result in improvements to the SPM-PT system based on SPT-PT standards and indicators. Also present were the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Mr. T. Ontowiryo, S.E., MBA, and his staff. The workshop, which began at 8:00 a.m., featured two speakers, Dr. H.M Budi Djatmiko (Chair of APTISI JaBar) and Prof. Dr. Ir. Abdul Hakim Halim (Chair of Kopertis Region IV). The Rector urged the management team to take advantage of the presence of the speakers to gather useful information for the managerial processes at Widyatama University.
The workshop was organized by the Widyatama Quality Control Center (PMW) and the Planning and Development Center (PusRenBang) of Widyatama University. The Head of PMW, Mr. H. Supriyanto Ilyas, S.E., M.Si, Ak, when giving his report to the Rector and the Widyatama Foundation, expressed his hope that this workshop could provide a clearer picture of the external and internal quality assurance systems to the management positions at Widyatama University. Mr. Arry Hutomo MDKSP, S.Si, MT, Head of PusRenBang, also expressed his hope that this workshop would produce results and not be limited by the duration of the workshop.
The workshop was closed at 4:30 p.m. by the Rector, exceeding the scheduled time because the workshop participants took full advantage of the question and answer session with the speakers. (dev).
