Socialization of the E-Learning Program for Employee Classes for the 2013/2014 Academic Year at Universitas Widyatama

On Saturday (September 14), students from the 2013/2014 Employee Class at Universitas Widyatama held an information session on the Widyatama campus E-Learning Program in Cikutra. A total of 750 students participated in this event, all of whom were students from the Widyatama University Employee Class. Participants were split into several sessions based on the time and place arranged by the E-Learning Operational System Team, led by Mr. MH Rozahi Istambul (Head of the Information System Study Program).

A week earlier (7/8), a University Introduction Program (PPU) for Employee Class students was held at the Universitas Widyatama’s Auditorium. This activity included a report from the Head of the Employee Class, Prof. Dr. Davidescu Cristiana Victoria Martha, M.A., who is also the Vice Rector for Operations at Widyatama University. Also present were the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Mr. T. Ontowiryo, S.E., MBA, who gave a speech and welcomed the Employee Class students, and the Rector of Widyatama University, Mr. Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA.

In a separate session, the Rector and Vice Rector for Operations welcomed the Employee Class students by introducing Widyatama University as an institution along with its current academic leadership, consisting of the Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and Secretaries of Study Programs. They also introduced the administrative leadership, consisting of the Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Centers, and their equivalents.

At the end of the session, new students were given a Quick Reference Guide to the E-Learning System and merchandise. Scheduled for Sunday, September 15, 2013, Employee Class students will take an incoming test, which is an assessment of their English language skills. This test is a routine activity for new students at Widyatama University with the aim of determining their foreign language skills, especially English, and is free of charge. (dev)
