The Widyatama University (UTama) Women’s Basketball Student Activity Unit (UKM) participated in the Parahyangan Sports Combat competition held by Parahyangan University from March 24 to April 12, 2019, at Parahyangan Reksa Raga (PASAGA).
This year’s Parahyangan Sports Combat was participated in by 8 teams from 8 universities, including Maranatha Christian University, STIE Ekuitas, ITHB, Unpar, Udayana, Unisba, Telkom University, and Widyatama. In the competition, the women’s basketball team secured the runner-up position, facing off against the ITHB women’s basketball team in the final with a final score of 41–50. During an interview, the Widyatama Student Affairs Office team stated that this achievement was quite commendable, as Widyatama University had already met its target of advancing to the semi-finals.
Parahyangan Sports Combat is the largest annual sports competition organized by Parahyangan Catholic University, and this year marks its sixth year.
