On Tuesday (16/4), the Widyatama University Career Center held a Technical Guidance event for Higher Education Institutions Receiving Career Center Service Development Assistance, which took place in the Seminar Room on the 6th floor of Building B at Universitas Widyatama. This 2019 fiscal year follow-up technical guidance was mandated by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI) through the Directorate of Belmawa.
The event was attended by 47 managers of Career Centers from Kopertis Region III Jakarta and Region IV West Java and Banten. Also present were the leaders of the Widyatama Foundation and Rectorate, as well as the Widyatama Career Center team.

The Widyatama University Career Center, headed by Mr. Pipin Sukandi S.E., M.M., has been the coordinator of the West Java and Banten Region career centers for grant recipients from 2016 to the present and has won grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education five times from 2015 to 2019.
In 2019, Kemenristek Dikti, through the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, once again provided assistance for the development of advanced career centers or tracer studies to all universities in Indonesia, with only 200 universities receiving this assistance. Present from the Directorate of Belmawa were the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Work Needs Alignment, Mrs. Tiomega Gultom, the Head of the Student Affairs Sub-Division of LLDIKTI Region III, Mr. Imam Yuwono, the Head of the Student Affairs Sub-Division of LLDIKTI Region IV, Mrs. Endang, and the Jakarta Career Center Regional Coordinator, Mrs. Lisyan.

Acting as a resource person, Director of ITB Career Center, Dr. Eng. Bambang Setiabudi, ST., MT. This technical guidance is divided into 4 sessions, namely the first session discussing the Directorate General of Higher Education’s policy on the PKPKL Assistance Program for the 2019 academic year, followed by the second session on the Development of Career Centers and Their Activities at the University Level, the third session on Alumni Tracing/Tracer Study (TS), and the final (fourth) session on Online Tracer Study Simulation and discussion/Q&A.

We hope that by participating in the Technical Guidance for Higher Education Institutions Receiving Career Center Service Development Assistance, we can provide broader insights into the implementation of Career Development for Career Center managers attending this technical guidance. (Ed)
