Widyatama University PMDK Registration

Widyatama University Bandung has opened registration for new student admissions (PMB) for the 2011/2012 academic year through the academic and sports interest and ability assessment (PMDK) pathway, as well as new student admissions through the Widyatama Entrance Examination (written test) and UMB PTS.

According to the Head of the Marketing Bureau of Widyatama University, Arus Reka Prasetya, SE, MBA, for the 2011/2012 academic year, his party has provided a quota for 1,700 new students. The number of admissions is estimated to be between 1,500 and 1,600 people. As an illustration, the number of applicants who registered at Widyatama University in 2009 reached 6,404 people.

“Even though our quota for new student admissions is 1,700 people, we will only accept around 1,500 people. This is because we want to ensure the comfort and peace of mind of students while they are studying here,” explained Reka.

Registration for new students in the PMDK program is open for two periods. Period I is open from November 9, 2010 to February 26, 2010, while period II is open from March 2, 2010 to May 31, 2010. Meanwhile, registration for the written entrance exam (USM) is conducted in three periods: February, June, and August 2011.

Application forms for new students for the PMDK program or the Entrance Exam can be obtained at the new student registration office at Widyatama Campus, Jalan Cikutra 204 A, Bandung, phone 022-7202997, or at each school, or can also be downloaded from the website: www.www.widyatama.ac.id.

Meanwhile, Widyatama University has also joined a number of private universities in Indonesia in holding the Joint Private University Entrance Exam Cyber Test (UMB PTS) on February 13, 2011 and July 24, 2011. UMB PTS is an efficient alternative for prospective students who wish to enter private universities by saving time, energy, and costs. The exam fee is only IDR 150,000 for three choices at one PTS, IDR 200,000 for two choices at one or two PTS, and IDR 250,000 for three choices at three PTS at once. For more information about the UMB PTS, visit www.spmb.or.id.

The exam uses a computer-based system or cyber test, meaning participants take the exam directly online in the computer laboratory at the PTS they have chosen as their exam location. The city of Bandung is represented by three PTS: Universitas Widyatama Bandung, Unpar, and ITENAS.
