Widyatama University FTV Study Programme Successfully Holds Closing Event of Microlearning Video Project in Collaboration with Ministry of Education and Culture

The Film and Television study programme or FTV study programme in collaboration with the Graphic Design, Multimedia and Management study programmes of Widyatama University successfully held a closing event of the microlearning video project in collaboration with the Directorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture on Wednesday 6 December 2023.
The closing event was also attended by Widyatama University Rector Prof. Dadang Suganda who also appreciated the microlearning project carried out.
“Extraordinary, amazed to see the achievements of the FTV study programme, which is not easy,” said Dadang when giving a speech.

Not only Prof Dadang, external parties who collaborated were from SMKN 5 Bandung, Tk Bougenville and Sekolah Bintang Waktu were also present because they were part of a video project that required at least 37 videos.
The microlearning video project with 37 videos is known to be carried out for 6 months with collaboration between students, lecturers and external parties.
The project activities were explained in full by Kenmada Widjajanto, S.Sos., M.Ikom. as the Chief Executive and Head of Widyatama University Film and Television Production Study Programme.
“Today’s project closing is a collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture which requires 304 videos this year, for learning through the Merdeka Mengajar platform for school teachers and educators,” he said.
He further explained that these 37 videos have 3 different types of videos.
“This video project consists of 3 types, namely presenters and illustrations, full animation and presenters with scenes.
For the number of videos made, type 1 has 16 videos, type 2 has 9 videos and type 3 has 12 videos.

Kenmada also explained that the contents of the videos were made for PAUD, high school and junior high school teachers related to several different themes.
“The content is for pre-school, high school, junior high school teachers related to many kinds, some themes that are part of the training for teachers,” he explained.
Finally, with this activity, Kenmada hopes that especially for students to gain knowledge from different learning processes.
“For students as a learning process, not only producing but becoming professionals based on timelines,” he hoped.
For information, the Merdeka Mengajar platform is present for teachers to get training via digital, especially to get references to the Merdeka curriculum.
