The Bachelor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) held a Strategic Management Public Lecture with the theme “Successful Execution Strategy in the Digital Era (Strategic Thinking in a Disruptive Era)” on Wednesday (May 16th, 2018) in the Seminar Room on the 4th Floor of Building A. Attended by Strategic Management lecturers and nearly 140 UTama students, this event served as a forum for UTama students to learn about the practical implementation of Strategic Management theory in the business world, especially in today’s highly dynamic and challenging Digital Era, enabling them to successfully execute business strategies and achieve competitive corporate goals. In addition to enhancing students’ knowledge, this activity is also expected to foster positive character traits that support student success.
On this occasion, the Bachelor of Management Program (FBM) invited a practitioner/expert in the field of Strategic Management as a speaker, namely Rizqi Ayunda Pratama, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT INTI Konten Indonesia (INTENS). INTENS is a subsidiary of PT INTI (Persero) and was moderated by Vina Silviani Marinda, a Strategic Management Lecturer at FBM UTama.

Born in Aceh on February 8th, 1989, he shared his experiences in strategic management and managing the company he leads, enabling him to successfully implement his business strategies. According to him, as part of corporate management, in formulating and implementing corporate strategies, it is important to consider not only external factors such as consumers and competitors, but also internal factors such as human resources, teamwork, culture, work environment, and business processes. He also shared stories about the Top 10 International Companies that have successfully executed their business strategies, such as Amazon.com, Google, and Uber. The man who has successfully increased his company’s performance by 800% emphasized that a perfect attitude is needed in all conditions in order to be successful in executing strategies, namely integrity, responsibility, creativity & innovation, etc.
This public lecture was very conducive and effective, supported by students who were very cooperative, active, and enthusiastic. It was closed with a slogan delivered by the moderator and repeated by the students, “Ready, Ready, Able!” Everyone prepared themselves, everyone was ready to plan and execute strategies, everyone could become a successful Young CEO!
