After running the SAP (System, Application and Project in Data Processing) Certification Program for almost three years, Widyatama will implement the DAT (Desktop Application Training) Certification Program in the form of certification in the fields of Ms Word, Ms Excel, Power Point, and Outlook applications from Microsoft, as a replacement for the KOMNET (Computers & Internet) Practicum Course in the Fall Semester of the 2010/2011 academic year. This program is intended for new students in their first and second semesters who have not yet passed the KOMNET practicum, while non-regular classes are open to older students, alumni, employees, and lecturers who want to learn more about Microsoft Office applications with competitive requirements, said Agus Edi Sudiarto, Head of the Widyatama Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Center. To prepare for the DAT Program practical course, titled “Introduction to Basic Computers & the Internet,” the ERP Center at Widyatama, as the program coordinator, is currently preparing the necessary infrastructure, such as training for DAT Program faculty and assistants, providing DAT Program modules, course guidelines, and exam preparations, among other preparations, he added.***
