On Saturday (September 3), the Widyatama University International Studies Center presented the 4th Bandung Model United Nations (BMUN) with the theme “Legacy of the 21st Century: A New Path for Future Generations.” This event, which has been held since 2015, was attended by 85 participants from various delegations from several universities in Indonesia. This time, BMUN was held at the Fourpoint Hotel in Bandung.
The Bandung Model United Nations (BMUN) is an international diplomacy event simulating United Nations (UN) sessions with the aim of enhancing critical thinking among young people, in this case university students. The event lasted for three days, beginning with the opening ceremony. On the first day, there was a talk show titled “The Role of Youth in Achieving Internationalism in the Era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution,” and the event concluded with a social evening.

85 participants from various delegations from several universities in Indonesia participated in BMUN 2019.
This international debate event was organized by the International Study Center of Widyatama University, which consists of active students from various faculties within Widyatama University. The students who played an active role in this event included students from the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Languages, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Communication Design. This event received significant support from Widyatama University and the Widyatama Foundation with the hope of honing students’ communication skills, especially in English, and preparing them to compete in the global arena.
