A total of 525 food packages were distributed by the Widyatama University Foundation to underprivileged residents around the Sukapada sub-district on Saturday (4/11) in the basement of the Widyatama University Building on Jalan Cikutra, Bandung. Widyatama Foundation Secretary Markus Kasirin symbolically handed over the packages, which consisted of rice and other basic necessities, in order to welcome Eid al-Fitr and as a form of social concern from the Widyatama Foundation and University for the surrounding community.
Residents from nine neighborhood associations (RW) enthusiastically lined up to wait for the distribution of basic food packages. According to one resident of RW 03, Sukapada Village, Ipah (70), she was happy with this activity because it could help ease household needs, especially during the Eid al-Fitr season. “I don’t have much, but this is enough,” she said.
