Additionally, the event was attended by the leadership of the Widyatama Foundation, the Rector and Vice Rector, as well as the Deans of Faculties and Heads of Programs within the Universitas Widyatama environment.

The purpose of this seminar is to get input on the skills needed in the industrial world, as well as to prepare Universitas Widyatama students for their future roles and directions. This is especially relevant for study programs within the Faculty of Engineering in designing their curricula, which not only refer to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), but are also designed in line with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). To realize these needs, the Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering programs have launched programs and learning processes that can be implemented in government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and private companies that focus on skills in the industrial world.

The programs that are currently being implemented and will be implemented are in collaboration with the agencies mentioned above. The program in question takes the form of an industrial internship carried out by students for one semester at the final level, where students will not only gain work experience in the industrial world but will also be given a certificate of competence from the relevant institution. Furthermore, the materials and syllabus have been adapted to the needs of the industrial world so that link & match can be applied continuously and comprehensively.

Therefore, the symposium and the signing of the MoU and MoA can help strengthen intellectual insights and ensure the continuity of the cooperation program between the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Widyatama, and parties in the industrial world can run regularly and on schedule.
