Bandung, January 4, 2025 – The Widyatama Foundation celebrated its 52nd anniversary with solemnity and togetherness. The ceremony, which took place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, was held on the 6th floor of Building B at Widyatama University, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the Widyatama Foundation, the leaders of Widyatama University, the leaders of the Widyatama Academic and Education Development Institute (LPAP), and the Widyatama Artherapy Center.
With the theme “Working with the Head, Heart, and Hands,” the event began with a recitation of verses from the Quran and saritilawah, which added to the sacred and grateful atmosphere. Next, the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation, Roeshartono Roespinoedji, delivered a speech expressing his appreciation to all elements that have contributed to the foundation’s long journey. A speech was also given by Sri Juniati, as the Advisor to the Widyatama Foundation, who highlighted the importance of maintaining the spirit of innovation and collaboration in building better education.
The meaning of the theme “Working with Head, Heart, and Hands” reflects a holistic and meaningful work philosophy. ‘Head’ symbolizes intelligent, innovative, and well-planned thinking. “Heart” reflects work based on sincerity, empathy, and care for others. Meanwhile, “Hands” illustrates the concrete actions and hard work carried out to realize a shared vision and mission. By integrating these three elements, the Widyatama Foundation wishes to emphasize the importance of synergy between intellect, emotion, and action in achieving goals.
The series of events also included a sharing session, where participants could exchange views on the achievements and challenges faced in advancing the Widyatama Foundation. The highlight of the event was the cutting of the tumpeng, a symbol of gratitude and hope for a brighter future. The event concluded with a group photo session and lunch, reflecting the togetherness and harmony among the participants.
This 52nd anniversary celebration is not only a moment to reflect on past achievements, but also a momentum to strengthen the Widyatama Foundation’s commitment to supporting the advancement of education in Indonesia.
