Strengthening Partnership, Unisa Signs MoU with Widyatama University

To strengthen partnerships between institutions, Al-Ihya Islamic University Kuningan held a collaboration with Widyatama University. The MoU was signed on Thursday (05/30/2024) at the main building of Widyatama University Bandung. Present at the signing of the MoU were the Rector of Al-Ihya Islamic University Kuningan Nurul Iman Hima Amrullah, S.Ag., M.Si and his staff, and the Rector of Widyatama University Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Suganda, M. Hum, who was also accompanied by the Vice Rector and Dean of Widyatama University. In his speech, the Rector of Unisa Kuningan, Nurul Iman Hima Amrullah, said that this MoU covers cooperation in the fields of education, research, community service, and university quality development. According to him, Widyatama University is a university that can serve as an example for private universities in West Java, including Al-Ihya Islamic University Kuningan. “We at Unisa Kuningan hope that this cooperation will be long-term. We are very grateful that Widyatama University is willing to cooperate with Unisa. Hopefully, this can be a stepping stone for Unisa Kuningan to become a leading university,” he said. Meanwhile, the Rector of Widyatama University also welcomed the arrival of the Unisa Kuningan delegation to sign the MoU. He said that the signing of the MoU was the beginning of cooperation between campus institutions, and that Widyatama University, which has been accredited as excellent, hopes to foster Al-Ihya Islamic University Kuningan to become a campus that excels in research and learning development. After the signing, the event continued with a dialogue between the units. In this context, the implementation of the independent MBKM program to be carried out by Unisa Kuningan was also discussed. Nurul Iman, as the Rector of Unisa Kuningan, expressed his hope that, in addition to the implementation of the Tridharma of higher education, this collaboration could develop further between units, particularly regarding the implementation of MBKM.
