The inauguration and handover of positions for the 2018/2019 term of office of the Widyatama Business Community Development (BCD) took place on Friday, August 24, 2018, starting at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, in the Seminar Room on the 2nd floor of Building A. Attending the event were the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management Widyatama, Dr. R. Adjeng Mariana F., S.E., M.M., along with several representatives from the Bureau within Universitas Widyatama.
The event began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Widyatama anthem, followed by the reading of the decree on the dismissal of the management, which was read by the previous person in charge of BCD, Darwis Agustriyana, S.Ab., M.M. Since early August, the university leadership has appointed Ismail Solihin, S.E., M.Si as the Head of BCD for the 2018/2019 term.
In the coming year, several new programs will be implemented at the Widyatama BCD unit, including collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) and guidance in the form of training from the Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora). Said Ismail in his speech.
The Business Community Development (BCD) Widyatama unit, as a business incubator for students, has produced young entrepreneurs from various study programs at Widyatama. These include Shoe Laundry “Senaklin,” Hijab Princess, Cekeran Midun, Amble Footwear, HiJack Sandals, and Designer Irna Mutiara. (Ed)
