Friday (30/8) New students of Widyatama University for the 2013/2014 academic year participated in the University Introduction Program or PPU at the Widyatama Auditorium in Cikutra. Approximately 1,555 students attended, dressed in black and white without any accessories, their faces bright with excitement as they welcomed their new status as university students. During the five-day PPU program, new students were given information and education about the dangers of drug abuse by guest speaker Dr. Aisah Dahlan. Dr. Aisah presented material on the various types of drugs available in Indonesia and the side effects of drug use. The students listened enthusiastically to the drug awareness presentation. The event was designed to be highly entertaining, featuring a theatrical performance by a former drug addict and songs that provided insights and warnings about avoiding addictive substances.

This talk show was also attended by the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Mr. T. Ontowiryo, S.E., MBA, Treasurer of the Widyatama Foundation, Mr. Djoko Roespinoedji, S.E., Pg. Dip, Head of the Marketing Bureau, Mrs. Devy Mawarnie Puspitasari, S.E., M.M., and Mrs. Anna Yudiana, S.E., as Level 2 Functional Placement Office and Career Center.
On this occasion, Dr. Aisah did not hesitate to remind all UTama students to stay away from and not use drugs because of the side effects of their use. We must live healthy lives without using drugs so that we can achieve our highest possible future and aspirations.
The event closed with the presentation of souvenirs to Dr. Aisah Dahlan as the guest speaker and Judiesty Johnny as the advisor of the Sahabat Rekan Sebaya Foundation by the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Mr. Tezza Adriansyah Anwar, S.IP., M.M., representing the Widyatama community.
