Bandung (15/12/14), the Career Center of Widyatama University held a Gathering 2014. The companies participating in the event were: PT. Bank OCBC NISP, PT. Bank CIMB Niaga, Daya Motor, etc. Alumni and students who are currently writing their theses or final projects were very enthusiastic about this event. The event began with an opening address by the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., MSi., Ak., CA. In his speech, he stated that Bachelor’s degree graduates who only attach their diplomas and transcripts without good attitude and soft skills in organizations will lose out to colleagues who previously had good knowledge in organizations that they had experienced initially.

The event, which took place in the A Seminar Room on the 4th floor, continued with a presentation from the company, explaining what skills and capabilities the company needs to face the ASEAN Economic Community in the future. An interesting comment from one of the company representatives, Mr. Agus Pribadi from PT. Bank MAYORA, said, “This is the second time I have attended the Gathering event, and I really feel its impact. I always get quality graduates from Widyatama University who have a lot of potential in their field of work.”
