Wednesday (February 5th), the Placement Office held the Gathering 2014 at the Widyatama University Multipurpose Building, starting at 10:00 a.m. until completion. Before the 2014 Gathering began, there was a speech from the Marketing Bureau by Mrs. Devy Mawarnie Puspitasari, S.E., M.M., followed by the opening of the 2014 Gathering with the striking of a gong by the Widyatama Foundation, represented by Mr. Djoko S. Roespinoedji, S.E., Pg.Dipl. There were 250 participants who attended the 2014 Gathering event, which was also attended by 14 leading companies. During this event, companies provided information about their company profiles and job vacancies, and there was a question and answer session between the companies and the 2014 Gathering participants, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Operations, Prof. Dr. Davidescu Cristiana V.M., M.A., as the moderator.
During the event, participants took part in all the activities planned by the committee. Participants were very enthusiastic during the company presentations and Q&A sessions, asking questions about the world of work, as they did not know much about it yet. During the event, there were coffee breaks and lunch prepared by the organizing committee for the participants and companies of the 2014 Gathering. Through the 2014 Gathering, participants were able to gain insights into the world of work and apply for jobs prepared by the companies.
