Monday, April 23, 2018, located in the Widyatama University Multipurpose Building (GSG), Bandung, WIDYATAMA BUSINESS & JOURNALISM FESTIVAL 2018 (WBJF 2018) was held. The opening was held at 1:00 p.m., which was preceded by remarks from the host who explained the schedule of events that would take place at the 2018 WBJF. The next event was the reading of the holy Qur’an.
Next was the remarks from the university which was started by the Chief Executive of WBJF 2018, Nindi Ayu Riski, who explained that the WBJF 2018 was the first time event. Nindi also explained about the theme “Discover The Beauty of Business & Journalism“. Business and Journalists were activities that cannot be separated, because these two things affect information about business activities. To be more specific, it was decided to take Discover The Beauty of Business & Journalism as the theme.
The event with the theme “Discover The Beauty of Business and Journalism” was attended by renowned speakers including Dr. H. Dudi Sudrajat Abdurachim., M.T (Head of West Java Prov. Cooperative and Small Business Service), Ir. Dedi Junaedi., M.M (Head of Department of Industry and Trade of West Java Province), and Risa Sarasvati (Author of Danur).
On his presentation, Ka. Dis KUKM Jabar Dr. Dudi said that currently there were many business opportunities, especially the trend of students who were entrepreneurs whom good at utilizing technology. The era of gadgets greatly facilitated all aspects to explore the business world digitally.
