CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION WITH PMK WIDYATAMA 2012 The Widyatama Christian Student Association (PMK) held a Christmas Celebration on Friday (21/21) on the 4th floor of Building A, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event opened with speeches from Prof. Jozua Sabandar, M.A., Ph.D, H. Marcus Kasirin, S.E., M.M, and Elisabeth Koes Soedijati, Dr., Dra., M.Si. They urged Christian students to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself for his people. They also emphasized the importance of transforming into better individuals through positive means.
The Christmas reflection was delivered by Basana Nababan in a warm and cheerful atmosphere. He conveyed that in our life journey, we must always transform from bad deeds into better behavior that is pleasing to Jesus Christ.
After the Christmas reflection, the students sang various hymns that enlivened the evening. Equally interesting, the drama group also presented a touching story about the meaning of Christmas with the theme “the arrogance of the rich who do not understand the meaning of Christmas.” The message of the story was that we should let go of our past evil and bad deeds so that we can repent and show Jesus Christ in our real lives.
