The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia is still ongoing and there is no certainty as to when it will end.
Its effects and impact are particularly felt by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Now everyone shares the same hope: that the pandemic will end soon and the economy will return to normal.
The presence and role of universities are also very important, especially in assisting the government through the three pillars of higher education, one of which is community service (Abdimas).

As done by Widyatama University (UTama), efforts are being made to assist MSME actors.
Lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UTama, in collaboration with Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati Kota Bandung, have carried out Abdimas activities online (via Zoom meeting) on December 14th, 2021.
Agatha Rinta Suhardi, S.Si., M.M., Head of the UTama Community Service Cluster Team at Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati, explained that this community service activity focused on the theme “Training in Branding and Content Creation as a Marketing Strategy for MSMEs in Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati.”
“Community service activities are still being conducted online in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19,” Agatha said recently.
Agatha continued, who was the guest speaker at the event, is a permanent lecturer at UTama, who is an expert in the field of marketing management. The event was attended by around 20 MSME players who are members of the Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati community.
“This webinar was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UTama, Mrs. Adjeng Mariana, who greatly appreciated this webinar. The event was also supported by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) at UTama,” said Agatha.

Meanwhile, Lia Sugiarti, representative of Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati MSME, said that Kampoeng Rajoet currently needs assistance in developing its branding so that its products become more widely known to the public.
Therefore, Kampoeng Rajoet is offering opportunities to students to assist MSME players in developing Kampoeng Rajoet’s branding and product content.
“We would like to express our gratitude to those who have helped in this Community Service activity, especially Widyatama University and LP2M, which have provided assistance in the form of Zoom facilities and community service funds,” said Lia.
The following is a list of Abdimas cluster members in Kampoeng Rajoet Binong Jati, Bandung City, namely Andi Budiawan, S.Sos., M.M., Titto Rohendra, S.E., M.Si., Sari Dewi Oktari, Hj., S.E., M.M., and
