Bandung (03/01/2024) Widyatama University Foundation is 51 years old (1973-2024), for the past 1 year Widyatama Foundation has celebrated the “Golden Age”. This year the spirit of Widyatama Foundation continues to grow with the theme “Smarter, Faster, Better” this is expected to be applied by the Widyatama Academic Community, LPAP Widyatama, Artherapy Center (ATC), and Widyatama University (UTama). It is hoped that with the spirit carried by the Foundation, Widyatama University can maintain the “UNGGUL” accreditation.
The Foundation Anniversary event was held in the Seminar Room, Building B, 6th Floor of Widyatama University at 09.00 WIB, attended by structural officials of Widyatama Foundation, UTama, ATC, and LPAP as well as several invited guests who have contributed and become part of the Widyatama family such as Dr.Ir. Mame Slamet Sutoko, DEA. (UTama Rector for the 1st period), Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA. (UTama Vice Rector for the 1st period), Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E. M.Si, Ak. (Rector of UTama 4th Period) and Prof. Dr. Thomas Suyatno (Chairman of ABPPTSI).
Roeshartono, S.T., MCEM., MBA. The Chairman of Widyatama Foundation expressed his gratitude to the structural officials within Widyatama University, Artherapy Center and LPAP who have given their dedication, contribution and cooperation.
“Hopefully all the sacrifices and sincerity of you in an effort to educate the nation’s life will be a bountiful reward”.
He added that the formation of the theme of the Foundation’s Anniversary (Smarter, Faster, Better) is to ignite the enthusiasm of lecturers, employees and students to work smarter, faster and better, because in the future there will be more challenges.
“We are required to work out of the box, extraordinary. Work smarter, work faster and work better”.
Sri Juniati, S.E., MBA. The Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation reminded us to always make DJITU (Disciplined, Honest, Innovative, Diligent, and Tenacious) as the life value and guide of the Widyatama Academic Community.
“We must always look forward, make the past a lesson, the future a stage. The message to the smarter community determines the direction of its policy, faster agile in accommodating the dynamics of higher education, agile collaboration and networking, better in managing the resources they have”. The Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Suganda, M.Hum. also expressed his gratitude and hope for the future for the Widyatama Foundation, according to him 51 years is a journey full of meaning for the Widyatama institution and all its citizens. Being in the big family Widyatama has a goal to realize the sustainability of the vision, mission and values carried by the Widyatama Foundation in delivering efforts to educate the nation’s children.
“We hope that at the age of 51 years of Widyatama Foundation, we – the ranks of Widyatama University can provide valuable gifts by completing the target of PEPA Unggul Universitas Widyatama,” he concluded
