The 2005 class of Widyatama University will hold the 2005 Class Art Appreciation Night (Masa 05) on Saturday, February 18, 2005, at the Widyatama University Auditorium, Jalan Cikutra 204 A, Bandung. Performing bands include KAPTEN, PLUTO, Kremlin, Apel, Ebit Git E, and Jack Markus. Additionally, traditional art performances by Saung Ujo and the winners of the high school and university band auditions held by the organizing committee prior to MASA 05 will also be featured.
According to MASA 05 Event Coordinator Heru, this annual art appreciation event, themed “The Power of Solidarity,” aims to strengthen the bonds between Widyatama University students and provide a platform for students to express their appreciation and talent in the arts.
According to Heru, this annual art event has become a regular agenda not only for Widyatama students, but also for young people in Bandung who are interested in the arts, as evidenced by the number of visitors each year, with no less than 2,500 people crowding the Widyatama Auditorium. Meanwhile, from the band auditions held by the organizing committee since January 8, 2006, 46 bands participated in the auditions, and four bands were selected and had the right to perform at the art festival.
