Bandung – Universitas Widyatama once again opened its doors to thousands of young talents through the lively Universitas Widyatama Open House event, which took place from November 13 to 15, 2025. Widely known as a university with excellent accreditation, the campus warmly welcomed around 1,600 students from 50 high schools in Bandung and its surrounding areas. This annual event aims to introduce the academic atmosphere and various potential study programs to the nation’s future generation before the official college registration season begins. The participants’ enthusiasm was evident as they crowded the campus area for three consecutive days to seek information about their future education.
The three-day event was designed with an inclusive and educational concept for all participants. The first two days were reserved for students from invited schools, while the third day was open to the general public who wanted to get to know the campus environment better. The students were invited to tour the modern facilities and see the technological innovations created by students, which were displayed at various faculty booths. They were not just spectators, but also actively involved in trying out various teaching aids and educational games provided by each study program.

The excitement of this event was felt directly by the participants who enthusiastically explored every corner of the campus. Students from Kemala Bhayangkari High School expressed their admiration for the technology exhibition presented by the Faculty of Engineering, which showcased machines assembled by students. According to them, this experience was much more interesting than visits to other campuses because there were so many new things to explore firsthand.

Direct interaction with senior students who were working on their final projects also provided a real picture of a dynamic and productive college life. In line with this, Aura and her friends from SMAN 24 Bandung felt greatly helped by the detailed explanations at each department booth. They felt more open-minded in choosing majors such as Industrial Engineering or Information Systems so that they would not make the wrong choice in the future. The concept of combining education with prize-winning games made the information-seeking process very enjoyable and not boring. This encouraged them to dig deeper into information about the career prospects of the majors they were interested in.

Nadia, a student from SMK ICB Cinta Wisata, also highlighted the inspiration she gained from the exhibition of student work and profiles of successful alumni. She was impressed by the innovation of the automatic dishwasher and the series of photos of alumni who have succeeded in the world of work thanks to the university’s collaboration with various industries. This visit helped her decide which major to choose to support her future career. Seeing the actual results of their work firsthand made the students even more confident in the quality of education offered.
