IMPROVEMENT OF PARKING SERVICES In an effort to support the University’s development program, support academic and non-academic activities, and develop a representative university, the Foundation continues to strive to develop the infrastructure and facilities of the Widyatama campus.
One of these efforts involves organizing parking management in a more professional manner. The objective of organizing parking management is to enhance security and services, provide comfort for parking service users—particularly academic activities—and create a “Friendly Campus” atmosphere.
The reorganization of parking management includes:
Improving parking facilities to ensure order and organization,
establishing clear parking regulations and rules,
better management supported by an information system and computer database, including the installation of vehicle access control gates,
implementing two parking payment systems: daily and subscription-based.
A trial run of the new parking management system will be conducted for one week, scheduled for May 18, 2009. GENERAL PARKING REGULATIONS The Parking Management applies two parking payment systems: daily and subscription. ·
Parking operating hours are from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM WIB.
Fixed parking rates: IDR 500 for motorcycles and IDR 1,000 for cars (rates remain unchanged).
Monthly Subscription for Cars: IDR 30,000/month, Monthly Subscription for Motorcycles: IDR 15,000/month.
Overnight parking for cars: IDR 10,000/day (except for local residents),
Overnight parking for motorcycles: IDR 5,000/day.
Structural officials, lecturers, and employees are not charged parking fees.
Sub-district employees and local residents (access to the road leading to Widyatama) are not charged parking fees/registered as customers.
Widyatama partners with offices on campus are allowed two (2) vehicles free of charge, while the rest are charged a subscription fee.
VVIP guests invited by the campus are not subject to parking fees.
Tenants of the GSG building, Seminar Room on the 4th & 6th floors, and the committee are not subject to parking fees, for a maximum of 6 (six) vehicles.
Mechanism for VVIP guests at Widyatama events · University Public Relations, Event Organizers & Protocol contact the Widyatama Security Coordinator to inform them of the number of VVIP vehicles that will be present at the event so that they are not charged parking fees.
The Widyatama Security Coordinator verifies and informs the Parking Management Team of the number of vehicles exempt from parking fees. · The Parking Management Team implements and facilitates the process to ensure the smooth running of activities.
