As a manifestation of the Communication and Consultation Forum (FKK), Widyatama University held an Industrial Gathering program on Wednesday (May 20) as a means of communication between relevant stakeholders (LPT, industry, government, and associations) to discuss issues faced by industries or companies in the form of obstacles in production, distribution, transportation, or regulation.
This meeting will be attended by 40 institutions from government agencies, professional associations, and industrial companies, each of which will be represented by, among others, the West Java Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bapeda), the West Java-Banten Region IV Aptikom, food companies, and banks. With the goal of creating synergy between Higher Education Institutions (LPT), Local Government (Pemda), Industry, and the Community in the form of communication and consultation between mutually beneficial parties, FKK will carry out various activities, including research and training for Industry.
Research is conducted to formulate analytical and systematic solutions to actual problems faced by industries/companies when carrying out their operational activities. If possible, these activities can be funded by partners or companies that need assistance in solving the problems they face. These activities are also beneficial for Higher Education because they provide opportunities to interact with the real world of practical problems and at the same time is also part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
