Sunday (18/8) Once again, students from Widyatama University (UTama) who are members of the UTama Golf Team successfully brought home 8 trophies in a golf tournament at the Imperial Karawaci Club Course, Tangerang. The national intercollegiate tournament was organized by the Student League (LIMA) and featured various competition categories from August 18-21, 2013.
The UTama Golf Team had departed for Tangerang the day before to prepare for the LIMA tournament. This was done to ensure that the UTama golf athletes were ready to compete the following day. The UTama Golf Team was accompanied by Team Manager Mr. Tezza Adriansyah Anwar, S.IP., M.M., who also serves as the Head of the Student Affairs Office.
The UTama Golf Team fought hard to win the championship and bring honor to UTama. The hard work of the UTama Golf Team paid off with 8 trophies won by Nadya Rosiana as 1st Place Individual Nett Event, Daily Individual Nett Day 2, Daily Individual Nett Day 3, and Most Valuable Player. Jordan Surya Irawan won trophies in the categories of Most Valuable Player, Daily Individual Gross Day 2, and Nearest To The Pin. Jordan Surya Irawan and Risko Herlambang won 3rd place with trophies in the Team Gross Event category.
Congratulations to the UTama Golf athletes who have achieved outstanding achievements by bringing home 8 (eight) trophies for UTama. The entire Widyatama community is proud of the UTama golf athletes who have brought honor to Widyatama. Keep moving forward, Widyatama University Golf Team.
