On Monday (February 3), Widyatama University (UTama) welcomed a visit from SMAN 3 Cirebon. The group arrived at around 7:00 a.m. at the Widyatama parking lot and was welcomed by the Marketing Bureau Public Relations team. The group was led by Mrs. Tri Indra Astuti, S.Psi., Coordinator of Guidance Counselors and Chair of Visitation & TRY OUT SMAN 3 Cirebon, who brought around 20 guidance counselors and 375 students.
The event began with a speech from the Head of the Marketing Bureau, Mrs. Devy M. Puspitasari, S.E., M.M., followed by a speech from the counselor of SMAN 3 Cirebon, Mrs. Tri Indra Astuti, S.Psi. The next event was a UN TRY OUT simulation conducted by the Marketing Bureau team to provide training for SMAN 3 Cirebon so that they would be ready for the UN.
The purpose of the group’s visit to UTama was to provide high school graduates with an understanding of higher education. This is because high school graduates do not yet know which university they will attend after graduating from high school and what major they will choose when they go to college. In addition to providing this understanding, the visit was also used as a means to provide more detailed information about Widyatama University. At the end of the event, the Head of the Bureau presented merchandise and souvenirs to the group and held a photo session to foster familiarity and good relations between the two institutions.
