Bandung Santo Club (BStC) is the name of one of the Student Activity Units (UKM) at Widyatama University. It is a UKM that focuses on traditional Chinese Barongsay and Liong arts. Initiated by a strong sense of concern for Chinese dance culture, a community was formed to practice together after classes.
The requirement to join the BStC UKM, which was originally limited to people of Chinese descent, has shifted to focus on efforts to preserve Chinese culture. Anyone can join this UKM, provided they are a student at Widyatama University. Each member of the team has their own expertise, ranging from drum players to Barongsay and Liong performers. They work together and understand the unique art of the Bamboo Curtain country. Another important aspect is the maintenance of the Barong and Liong equipment. BStC is always present at every major university event, even public events.
