Widyatama University Student Activity Unit (UKM)

In an effort to provide a means for students to channel and develop their potential in positive activities, Widyatama University (UTama) provides a platform for this. One such platform is the Student Activity Unit (UKM). This unit is responsible for organizing extracurricular activities at the university level. It is divided into several fields, including science and technology, sports, arts, special interests, and spiritual interests.

Science and technology interests include Business and Entrepreneurship, among many others. Sports interests include Swimming, Golf, Basketball, Taekwondo, Karate, Badminton, and many more. Arts interests include Student Creative Arts, Choir (Padus), and many more. Special interests include the Student Regiment (Menwa), Japan Community, Barongsay Widyatama, and many more. Spiritual units include the Islamic Student Family (KAMI), Christian Student Association (PMK), Buddhist Student Association, Hindu Student Association, and Konghuchu Student Association.

In addition to being a means of self-expression through positive activities, these clubs also serve as a platform for developing students’ soft skills, such as communication, leadership, teamwork, and many more. It is not uncommon for students to discover their unique strengths through these clubs. These student activities are centralized at the Widyatama Student Center.
