On Thursday (14/1), accreditation guidance for the Master of Accounting Study Program was conducted in preparation for the visitation that will likely take place in the next month or two. The accreditation guidance was led directly by the Rector, Dr. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, and took place at the Postgraduate Building in the Cikutra area.
Structural officials from the relevant faculty actively participated in this activity, including all administrative support bureaus in preparing forms in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. “This activity is a form of guidance for all relevant parties to be ready to face the visitation,” said the Rector.
As we know, accreditation is a formal recognition given by an accreditation body to an institution or organization for its competence in conducting certain conformity assessment activities.
Education is the key to the advancement of a nation, therefore formal education needs to be improved. The implementation of formal education must be managed professionally by professionals in order to achieve the expected quality of education. The implementation of accreditation of an educational institution is a way to monitor efforts to improve quality. This is because the implementation of accreditation reflects the results that have been achieved by an educational institution.
