Widyatama’s Japanese Diploma III Program Explores Internship Cooperation with OHM Japanese Studies

As cooperation with Japan continues to grow, the Japanese Diploma III Program seeks to make the most of these opportunities. Efforts made by the Japanese Diploma III Program at Universitas Widyatama include establishing cooperation with several Japanese schools in Japan and Japanese companies in Indonesia and Japan.

So far, the Japanese Diploma III Program at Universitas Widyatama has established cooperation with OHM Japanese Studies. Through OHM, there are currently 5 students from the Japanese Diploma III Program participating in an internship program at a company in Osaka, and recently, on June 25th, 2018, the Japanese Language Diploma Program at Universitas Widyatama welcomed another guest from OHM, Mr. Yasuhiro Inoue, who is the Chairman of the Osaka Restaurant Association. According to the Head of the Japanese Program, Dra. Aan Amalia, M.Pd., this visit was part of exploratory discussions regarding collaboration with the Japanese Program at Universitas Widyatama.

During this visit, OHM and his guest Mr. Yasuhiro Inoue discussed opportunities for Japanese Study Program students to participate in internship programs at restaurants in Japan, particularly in Osaka and Kyoto. In the future, there will also be opportunities for graduates of the Japanese Program at Universitas Widyatama to work in Japan. On this occasion, several student representatives were also present to be involved in the exploration of cooperation, which took place in the Graha Widyatama meeting room.
